PASA President Takes New Position at ACODEPA

– Karin Sierralta, President of PASA, is the new Secretary of ACODEPA’s Principles and Values ​​Commission
Karin Sierralta, President of the Pan American Surf Association (PASA), has been elected to the position of Secretary in the Commission of Principles and Values ​​of Sport of the Association of Pan American Sports Confederations (ACODEPA).
ACODEPA is an organization recognized by PanAm Sports that brings together 38 Pan-American Confederations of Olympic Sports, and among its tasks are the coordination of efforts for the development of sport in the American continent.

Other functions of this Association are to establish links between the Pan American Confederations with government authorities and to get involved with the organizing committees of the Pan American Games for the preparation of the Games.

President Sierralta, said:

“It is an honor to be part of this important commission that promotes the Olympic principles and values ​​of respect, excellence and friendship to all the Sports Confederations of our continent.”

“This inclusion is also important because, step by step, surfing is being taken into account in the great organizations of the world, opening the doors to a sport that can contribute a lot thanks to its special characteristics and long organizational history,” she added.
