- A few weeks for the start of the Games 2024, we begin with a series that pays tribute to the current PASA champions in the different categories

- 2024 PASA Games will be from October 3 to 12 at the high performance surfing center of Punta Rocas, Lima, Peru.
With a few weeks left for the start of the 2024 Pan American Surfing Games, from October 2 to 13 in Lima, Peru, today we remember the feats of the current champions of the SUP Race category that were crowned during the 2023 PASA Games, held in Santa Catalina, Panama.
On that occasion, the female race began with a compact group and with many difficulties for athletes in the initial section with waves. Among difficult wind conditions on the high seas, Juliana González from Argentina was the most consistent athlete, taking off from the group and surpassing for much difference to her closest persecutors.
Argentina took the gold with a final time of 49 minutes with 07 seconds, followed by Lina Augaitis from Canada, 2014 ISA World Champion, with a time of 51 minutes with 25 seconds. With this triumph she managed to overcome her result of the Playa Venao PASA Games in 2022, where she achieved second place.
The 2023 male SUP Race began spectacularly with athletes from Brazil, Costa Rica and Argentina leading and marking the rhythm.
In this initial paddle exchange, Guilherme Batista from Brazil moved away from the group and there it remained until the end, winning the gold medal with a time of 44 minutes with 24 seconds, followed by Itzel Delgado from Peru, who closed the Race with a time of 46 minutes with 08 seconds.
With his impressive performance during this race, Batista aided his team Brazil to obtain the title of Pan American Champions in 2023.

The Pan American Surf Games 2024 will take place from October 3 to 12 and will bring together the best surfers throughout the American continent to compete for Pan -American gold in eight disciplines. The event promises to be an exciting exhibition of talent, passion and sports spirit, with athletes that will overcome the limits of their sport and inspire fans around the world.
